Blessed Trinity Catholic Church
Cemetery Blessing
May 30, 2010

The designated site is on the north end and adjacent to the present church parking lot. The selected parcel has been reviewed by the Saginaw Diocese Cemetery Manager (Ken Groya) and his engineering staff and deemed suitable for approximately 500 gravesites and a Columbarium facility which would initially accommodate 96 niches for inurnment of cremated remains. Each niche could contain two urns.

It is believed that this capacity would meet parish needs for perhaps 50 years. Additionally, unrestricted parish land immediatelyto the east could be later developed to, at least, double the capacity without prohibiting future development of church property.

Committee members were: Jim Hindelang, Lowell Butman, Joe Cramer, Lyle Davis, Jerry Stanton and Jim Stein.
